Welcome!
I'm Karen.
Art Historian, Associate Professor,
Life Coach for Academics.
Do you love your work but feel pulled in all directions? I get it! As academics, we juggle so many different kinds of labor, responsibilities, obligations, and commitments. Making space for what matters sometimes feels impossible. The start of the semester is a perfect time to be intentional about embracing GOOD ENOUGH. take a realistic look at your commitments, and plan to amke time for what matters most to you.

I support faculty who want to re-imagine their academic lives. My coaching is rooted in my experience as an art history professor at a liberal arts college, where I have navigated the tenure track, taught my heart out, published a book, served as a campus leader, and become a mom.

Higher education can be a brutal place. And yet, it has the potential to be flexible and fulfilling - a life's work to be proud of. I’ll help you figure out what Good Enough means for you this semester, whether that's slowing down, re-connecting to your full self, reclaiming what you love about your work, shifting your relationship to time, making space for rest, or whatever matters most to you.
You CAN create your own satisfying and humane semester.
